Back in Barcelona... Hola!

Arriving in Barcelona, its good to be back... although this time, a slower pace for us and more siestas are predicted.  Our room is massive and really well located (thanks Janet!!!) We even have a balcony over a bustling streetfront... loads of fun for Jarvis.
Jarvis is so much better and is eating like a normal 4.5 year old now... uping the budget tho!  ha ha.
Weird feeling being in a big city again after the slower pace of San Sebastian.
Now we get up and go at 9 to get breakie (still stuggling to wake Jarvis up at that point).  Jarvis has 2-3 hour sleep in the afternoon as we are usually off again till about midnight.  Less sightseeing time, but this seems to work out well for everyone, as it is hot outside when Jarvis naps... so we just sit here in muted light, drink cold cava, eat spanish nibbles and I blog - which as you can tell is working well now - getting photos up without too much hassle (sweet!!!)
Found La Bodegueta last night for dinner...  an underground bar specialising in Catalan food, especially the cheeses and sausages - superb. Whilst we were ordering, water and a glass arrived like magic for Jarvis. We didnt even see it arrive. They really like kids here...(in Spain) its lovely. Jarvis is very good with his spanish now though... he takes great pride in saying 'Gracias' and 'Hola' every day and he reeps the rewards with free balloons and sweeties everywhere he goes pretty much.
A hint for travelling with kids... a smile and some simple spanish words can make for a really pleasant time.
Jarvis is loving the Jamon and blue cheese, also this lovely, quite simple tomato bread, a classic Catalan dish that we had heard about..."Pa anb tomaquet"... so good.

Also, while I think of it... a wee note to travellers...Segovian bottled water is the best... don't buy bottled water from Pamplona!!!
